New Bracelet Size Chart

When you shop for jewelry, it can be quite challenging to find a bracelet that you like and that actually fits your wrist properly. Too often, bracelets are made and sold in one standard size - typically 7 or 8 inches long.
And even when some 7 or 8 inch bracelets fit, others will not. That’s because thicker bracelets have a smaller circumference when worn than thin bracelets do.
I wanted to avoid both of those problems with the bracelets I craft for others to wear. My first approach was to offer my designs in a range of sizes whenever possible. You can order most Chetti Designs bracelets customized to fit your wrist properly, typically free of charge.
Next, I made sure that my bracelets were sized according to wrist size - and not by bracelet length. However, I still felt that some sizing descriptions were not as straightforward as they could be.
This week I simplified the entire bracelet sizing system by creating a standard Bracelet Size Chart which you can use when ordering any Chetti Designs bracelet. Just measure your wrist near the base of your hand using a measuring tape, and then see where your measurement appears on the chart.
If you prefer a looser fit, you may want to err toward a larger size when ordering - and vise versa for a more snug fit. (Just remember that wearing a bracelet too tightly can place undue strain on the links.)
Some bracelets also are now available with an optional extender chain. I recommend those designs for gifts when you don’t know your recipient’s exact wrist size.
Let me know what you think about the new bracelet sizing system, and please share your suggestions!
